We are looking for an exceptional Insights Community Manager who has an active curiosity in human behaviour, loves to build relationships, is tech savvy and will excel in Client Management.

INSIGHTS COMMUNITY MANAGER

An Insight Community is a group of customers who provide brands with feedback which helps to inform their marketing, product innovation and communication. Insight Communities allow brands to ideate, co-create and concept test with their customers and employees. Members sign up to provide feedback and in return feel like a VIP who is part of an exclusive club.

As an IC Manager you will be responsible for managing the client relationship, supporting them with the implementation and usage of their community (you will become a platform expert) and provide them advice on online community best practice in regards to community health, members engagement, research methodologies, ROI etc.

As a trusted advisor for your clients, it is important that you are able to communicate effectively, work collaboratively and build relationships with clients, as well as other members of the Potentiate team.

The IC Manager role requires strong organisation and project management skills. Ideally, you will be a people person and a team player and an out-of-the box thinker who challenges the status quo. Experience with online communities or research software is esential.

Your responsibilities…  

• Keep up-to-date with the latest market trends/insights and developing technologies around your clients’ business to provide relevant advice/ recommendations

• Build and grow the client relationship and ensure that client expectations are exceeded

• Project management (Insight Community setup or shutdown, recruitment and engagement initiatives, data management and keeping track of timelines for clients)

• Be a platform expert, train clients and stay on top of developments in the software and understand the benefits and value of the features

• Troubleshoot issues, escalate where needed, and follow-up promptly

• Identify opportunities to help promote the community within the client’s organisation

• Think outside the box in terms of approach for capturing insights but also helping to boost engagement with community members

• Write content and create presentations which resonate with members and clients

• Work with other teams to ensure on-time and high quality deliverables to your clients

A star candidate will have…

• At least 5 years of experience in market research, account management and/or customer success manager

• The ability to work in a team environment as well as independently

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Excellent time management/organisational/problem-solving and analytical skills

• Attention to detail

• The ability to work under pressure and prioritise competing deadlines

• A proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) including skills for formatting and creating visual displays of information

• Keen interest on technology and a passion for human insights

• A can do attitude

• Post-secondary education degree
