An Insight Community is a group of customers who provide brands with feedback which helps to inform their marketing, product innovation and communication. Insight Communities allow brands to ideate, co-create and concept test with their customers, faster than ever. Members sign up to provide feedback and in return feel like a VIP who is part of an exclusive club.
As an Account Executive, you will support clients in setting up and using Insight Communities to gain insights which answer their business needs. These Insight Community websites are run on software platforms which you will learn and train clients on. Insight Community management involves writing engaging content which can be shared with members, planning strategies to recruit and retain members and proactively seeking out opportunities for the client to use their Insight Community whilst also facilitating the promotion of this resource within their business.
As you grow in the role you will become the key contact for some clients and will become a trusted advisor for them, therefore, it is important that you are able to communicate effectively, work collaboratively and build relationships with clients, as well as other members of the Potentiate team.
The Account Executive role also requires strong organisation and project management skills. Ideally, you will be a people person and a team player – we want you to be able to form relationships with our clients, as well as others within the business. You will be an out-of-the box thinker who challenges the status quo. Experience with product innovation and online communities or research software is preferable, but not essential.
